Faces of Kenya’s Future

Over the past few weeks of taking pictures, I noticed that I was taking a lot of impromptu portraits of people. They were never supposed to be portraits, they just ended up turning out that way.

As you can see the faces on the children in my first and second pictures, you can start to get a idea with what I am dealing with here in Kenya.

Since poverty is so ramped here most people even sometimes the children just have a blank look on their faces since they know I have a camera. I always hope for smiles, but it is hard when you are documenting what they are doing.

Josh, as always your pictures are amazing. I think the last shot of the mother holding her child is incredible. I’m very proud of you and what you are doing. I look forward to more pictures.
